I just wanted to update very quickly and let you all know that I am alive and well. Sore, but well. The surgery went well though there were two unexpected situations. First, it wasn’t my ovaries that were giving me problems but my Fallopian tubes. They are supposed to lay straight but one of mine was kinked and was sitting up against my bladder. They also performed an appendectomy. They were able to save both ovaries so that I don’t enter into menopause or have to have hormone replacement therapy. Anyway, thank you all for your prayers and warm wishes. I am home now and will be recouping for a while. Talk to you then.

Oh my! So glad to hear you are home and on the mend. Sounds like they found the things that were causing you so much pain – I hope this means those times are past!
hooray. i’ve been thinking about you and wondering how everything went. i’m so thrilled they saved your ovaries! three cheers! and am also glad that you updated us on your progress. was worried that i’d not hear anything for a week or two until you had strength to get online again.

I’m so glad that you are doing well and that they were able to save your ovaries so that you won’t need hormone replacement! One thing that’s cool – no more yucky periods. 🙂
