Plus, I started a new book. “French Women for All Seasons”. I read the first book, “French Women Don’t Get Fat” and ♥’d it. There’s something reassuring about not being the perfectly built size -00 that American society so loves. I finished “Amityville Horror” lastnight and wanted to share that I changed my mind: It would not be cool to live in a haunted house. (Unless the ghosts were friendly. Like Casper. Maybe.)
Along with knitting and book reading, Scout and I took a trip to the pool. Not to swim. But to sit. She babbled and fell asleep while I flipped through some pattern books that I haven’t set my eyes on in a while. Our neighbors, (our nice neighbors), are moving back to Seattle at the end of July and I was hoping to make each kid a scarf or something. BUT, there are three kids and so little knitting time as it is. Maybe I’ll make them and send them off for Christmas?
Scout says “hi” and “gimme your finger, I want a taste”. Teething here we come!
